Kimberly Higgs, Vice President, Staff Development

Kimberley Higgs has been working in the field of psychiatric rehabilitation since 1990. She has been a member of NJPRA since 1992, joining the Board of Directors in 2008.  In 2010 she was elected to the position of Vice- President, focusing on training and staff development opportunities for the membership.  Employed by Volunteers of America – Northern New Jersey Division as a program director, she oversees the provision of supportive and supervised housing for adults with mental illness.    Ms. Higgs received her bachelor’s of art degree in psychology from Montclair State University and her master of social work degree from New York University.  She is licensed social worker (LSW) and a certified psychiatric rehabilitation practitioner (CPRP).
