Nora Barrett - Is the Program Director, Undergraduate Degree Programs for the Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation at UMDNJ SHRP, Scotch Plains, N.J.  Nora’s experience includes teaching, program management and the provision of direct services.  She also is an accomplished writer and presenter.  Nora has served as Vice President of NJPRA. She chairs the Public Policy committee and is on the Board of USPRA.

Delia Cortes –  An intake counselor on the Partial Care Team at Bridgeway, Delia has worked in the psychiatric rehabilitation field since 1994. She has provided trainings at NJPRA, CSH, NJ-PACT conferences and is affiliated with NJPRA, APSE and NJAMHA. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biology from Rutgers University. Appointed to an interim term on the Board in 2008, Delia is active on the Staff Training and Development Committee.

Dave D’Antonio – Is a Program Director with Bridgeway Rehabilitation Services, Elizabeth, N.J. and has extensive experience in the provision of direct care services.  He served on the NJPRA Board since 2006.  Dave has a MA in clinical psychology, a LCADC and a CODS.  He oversees Partial Care, Supported Employment, Supported Education, RIST and CO-Occurring Disorder programs at Bridgeway and is a staff trainer in Evidence Based Practices.  He is the Chairperson of the NJPRA Partial Care Providers Group.

Joanne Forbes – An active member of NYAPRS while working in NY State, Joanne was Deputy Director of Community Services at South Beach Psychiatric Center as well as Director of Rehab Services and Program Development. She is currently a member of USPRA, a CPRP, and doctoral candidate at UMDNJ in Psychiatric Rehabilitation. Joanne was appointed to an interim term on the Board in 2008 and serves on the Conference Committee.

Peter Genuardi – Peter has a Master of Science degree from Shippensburg University and is the manager of the First Day Partial Care Program located at Family Service Association in Absecon, NJ.  He has administrative and operational responsibility for the day treatment services for adult populations who are transitioning into the community after experiencing inpatient hospital stays. He has been involved with the Board and Care Industry in New Jersey for over 25 years. Peter has served as a member of the NJPRA Board since 2000.  He is a past association Vice-President and current member of the Public Policy Committee.

Kimberley Higgs – Kim is a Program Director with Volunteers of America of Greater New York located in Rahway, New Jersey and is responsible for the program operations in Middlesex, Union and Hudson Counties.  She has her Masters of Social Work degree from New York University and is a LSW in New Jersey.  Kim also is a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner.  Kim has served on the NJPRA Board since 2006, is on the Public Policy Committee and currently serves as the Chairperson of the ROLES Practice Group.

Faith McCalla Faith is currently Program Director for Career Connections Employment Resource Institute (CCERI), a program of the Mental Health Association in New Jersey (MHANJ).  She has had extensive experience in various treatment modalities - Supported Employment, residential services, partial hospital and so forth and also lectured at UMDNJ. She received her Masters of Science in Psychiatric Rehabilitation at UMDNJ and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). Faith is completing an interim term on the Board and serves on the Staff Training and Development Committee and the Conference Committee.

Beverly Moore-Clark –Is the Program Director at Prospect House in East Orange. A longtime member of NJPRA, she has worked with the Mental Health Association of Essex County and Project Hope. Beverly has her Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University.

Bill O’Brien –Is the COO for SERV Centers of N.J. He has also served as Administrator for Behavioral Services at Camden County Hospital among other hospitals and clinics across New Jersey. Bill has a Master of Arts in Counseling from Pepperdine University. He has served as a consultant in NY, NJ and Washington DC. Appointed to an interim term in 2008, Bill serves on the Nominating Committee.

Joe Young – Joe is the Acting Executive Director of Disability Rights New Jersey (formerly NJ Protection & Advocacy, Inc.).  He has served on the NJPRA Board of Directors since 1997 and is Chair of the By-Laws Committee.  He is also a past recipient of the Mort Gati Award.  Joe received his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law and is admitted to the bar in New Jersey and New York.  Joe has a long history of involvement in community organizations including the Mental Health Association on New Jersey and as the first Chair of the Board of Trustees of Monarch Housing Associates.

Jay Yudof – Jay has served on the NJPRA Board since 2006 and is Chair of the Membership Committee. Jay has his Masters of Science in Psychiatric Rehabilitation from UMDNJ and is a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner.  He currently is the Wellness Dissemination Coordinator for Collaborative Support Programs of New Jersey and is an active member of NAMI New Jersey in both the Statewide and the Greater Monmouth efforts.

Michelle Zechner – Michelle is an Instructor at UMDNJ-SHRP and worked at UBHC as a Program Development Specialist. She has worked with NAMI Mercer County as a Project Coordinator and at various programs and services in Pennsylvania. Michelle is a PhD student at UMDNJ Department of Psychiatric Rehabilitation and has an MSW from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a frequent presenter at conferences. She is on the Staff Training and Development and Conference Committees.
