Wellness Coach Education Project

A wellness coach education project is currently open to all peer providers working in supported housing or residential services throughout New Jersey. At the expense of NJ DMHS, peer or consumer staff may attain the knowledge and skills of wellness coaching through an educational program offered collaboratively by CSP-NJ and UMDNJ faculty. Wellness coaching will address the poor physical health of many consumers by helping them set and pursue health and wellness goals. In addition, services provided by certified wellness coaches will soon be a Medicaid reimbursable service for supported housing. Below is a link to the program's brochure describing the project.  All the forms required to apply for the program are linked below also.   PLEASE NOTE THAT THE APPLICATION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO MAY 6^TH. Classes are scheduled to begin this June. Participants will earn 6 undergraduate course credits.
